Sutil To Replace Schumacher At Mercedes GP F1!

Schumacher plans to retire from Formula 1, and could be replaced by Adrian Sutil at Mercedes GP, according to information from international press.

Michael Schumacher has signed a three seasons contract with Mercedes GP late last year, believing that will require more than a year to return to fight for victories.

Its forecasts have proved correct, the 7 time champion won only 46 points this season, partly because of poor performance of W01 seater. However, the German was surpassed by his team-mate Nico Rosberg, who totaled no less than 112 points.

According to information from international press quoted by journalist Joe Saward,  the poor results push Schumacher to reconsider its position next year, taking into account including the ability to withdraw. Although not recent, speculation is now reinforced by the fact that Mercedes GP had show his interested in Adrian Sutil, who is in the final year of contract with Force India.

Would be a logical move for Mercedes GP, since no other top pilot is no longer free of contract for 2011, and Sutil has German nationality. In addition, Mercedes GP should seize this opportunity because one of the pilots that protects them, Paul di Resta, to become Force India.
