Ben Collins Aka The Stig Wins The BBC Trial – The Autobiography Will Be Published!

The Stigs

Ben Collins, aka The Stig, left BBC in tensioned relationships. He wanted, at the time, to publish a book, but it had some details that would have unmask him as being The Stig from Top Gear TV Show. Meanwhile, it was confirmed that he is the famous driver, but BBC wanted to keep the informations secret, so Ben Collins’ autobiography should have remained unpublished.

The Stig got his… butt back of the costume kicked, when he declared he wants to publish his autobiography. The Top Gear TV Show producers had some real head aches because of the text, because Stig revealing his identity would have brought damages to the show’s image and would have ruined the spell of the character. And Jeremy Clarkson would have stopped saying: “Some say…”

Even so, violating the contract terms of the deal he signed with BBC, Ben Collins ended in the trial court and won his right to publish the book, with all the informations related to The Stig character. HarperCollins Publishing will market the book that is highly expected by many enthusiasts in the automotive world.

The Stigs

Ben Collins left the trail court without making any statement. The fact that he is The Stig came out after some income statements of his company, and this book would not do anything more than confirm the fact, officially, that he is the famous driver. That’s why BBC tried, without success, to stop this from being revealed.
