Even if Saleen is a less known name for the Europeans and insignificant in comparison with names such as Ferrari or Lamborghini, the little American producer comes with a war machine: Saleen S5S Raptor.

The concept, presented for the first time at New York in 2008 comes with many surprises: the car body is entirely made of aluminum and composite materials, the ABS and the stability control are standard. The suspension is independent, based on the Saleen’s long experience, recognized as the best Ford Mustang tuner.

The braking system is based on 381mm (front) and 308mm (rear) discs and the rims are 20″.
In comparison with Ford GT40 or Chevrolet Corvette, the aspect of Saleen S5S Raptor is the result of the biggest American design studio, ASC Creative Services.
The car is equipped with a 5.0 liter and 650 hp engine, which will give a torque of 850 nm. All the power will be controlled by a 6-gear manual transmission and the sprint from 0 to 60 mph will only take 3.2 seconds, as the top speed will reach 320 kph. The starting price for this supercar will be 185.000$.
