Sony To Unveil PSP2 On January 27th, PlayStation Phone Release Date TBA At MWC

2011 is a very important year for Sony as the company needs to reinvent itself in order to get back to the winning days. Sure, the PlayStation Move has made it to the market in 2010 and sales were decent, but both Microsoft and Nintendo are now ahead in terms of sales and profits and that’s not good. According to Bloomberg, Sony will unveil the next-gen PSP next week, while the PlayStation Phone will be revealed at MWC 2011.

Previously, Sony admitted that the original PSP is a bit old, but failed to confirm PSP2′s existence. Also Sony Ericsson said that the new Xperia family of smartphones is coming at MWC and we kinda knew that the PlayStation Phone is coming at the Barcelona event because it failed to show up at CES 2011 alongside the SE Xperia Arc.
