Porsche Has Launched The Cheapest Panamera, Just $73,000

Those who wanted a Porsche Panamera something affordable can base this summer on the V6 version of the German model. It will cost $73,000.

Porsche has presented today, in the first press day at Beijing Auto Show, the new and cheaper version of the Panamera. The new V6 Panamera will be available in two versions (Panamera and Panamera 4 – the last with all-wheel drive), the 3.6-liter engine under the hood followed to develop 300 HP and 295 lb-ft of torque by the automatic six-speed gearbox and a PDK dual-clutch.

Both traction versions has, optional, an pneumatic suspension. The difference is made by the 60 pounds less of the V6 version compared with the V8 version, the change bringing the weight of the German model to 3902 pounds. The new version will offer reduced fuel consumption: 30.5 mi/gal for those who choose only rear wheel drive system and 29.4 mi/gal for those who want all wheel drive.

After launching the two new versions, the Panamera range reached thus to five different versions: Panamera (V6 RWD), Panamera S (V8 RWD), Panamera 4 (V6 AWD), Panamera 4S (V8 AWD) and the Panamera Turbo.

Porsche has said until now only for U.S. prices of its new version, which starting from $73,000 for Panamera version with rear-wheel drive and the equivalent of $79,000 for Panamera 4 version with all wheel drive. The model will enter on the U.S. market in June, the Europe enjoying the cheapest Panamera while the U.S. customer.
