SEMA: Vaughn Gittin’s carbon delight RTR-C Mustang

Out there in the crazy custom cars wold, Mustangs must be one of the most frequent choices. First of all because it’s a damn hot car, secondly because it’s such a legend, and thirdly cause it’s easy to tune it up. Among the custom Mustangs in theĀ  Ford booth, Vaughn Gittin Jr.’s carbon fiber RTR-C Mustang has to be the King of Kings at the moment.

The carbon fiber body panels are the real deal. According to Vaughn, the lightweight material saves 400-500 pounds, although some of that weight is added back thanks to the supercharger, larger brakes and headers. In total, the car weighs in at just over 3,350 pounds. But beyond these number that maybe speak little to some, this is one looker indeed sir. The exterior look is all about contrasts, shiny and blingy here and dark carbon there.

Inside, the Sparco seats are also constructed of carbon fiber, and the rear seats have been taken out and replaced with a tasteful leather-covered panel. Attentio to detail was the master move in this piece of car art, even the RTR logos are all hand made and individualized.

Vaughn will be selling a limited run of just 10 RTR-C Mustangs. Now If you love the Mustang, love drifting and love carbon delights, you probably won’t hesitate to let go of some $135,000, would you? Well, maybe it’s a bit spicy but you will own the most hard`n`heave Mustang out there.
