In my opinion Motorola has been the biggest company at CES 2011 as the company has unveiled two of the best smartphones and the best tablet on the market. The release dates of the Motorola Atrix 4G, Droid Bionic, and Xoom tablet have been announced to be around Q1 or Q2 2011. Well, Motorola’s CEO, Sanjay Jha, has decided to reveal a more extended version of the availability of these devices while announcing the modest earnings of his company.

So the Motorola Atrix 4G release date is by the end of February 2011, just like the Motorola Xoom 3G launch date. On the other hand, the Motorola Droid Bionic release date is by the end of Q2 2011 alongside the Motorola Xoom with 4G LTE support. I remind you that the Motorola Xoom will first be launched without 4G LTE support because Moto needs time to make some final amendments.

Earlier today we reported that the Motorola Xoom price will be $699.99 as suggested by the leaked Best Buy inventory. Well, things might be a little different at Verizon where the Android 3.0 Honeycomb-powered tablet will cost $799.99. And that’s the starting price!

A tipster has sent this pic of the Verizon inventory and you can clearly see that the Motorola Xoom will cost at least $799.99. $100 is not a major difference but things change if you’re talking about $699.99 which is already a high amount. Sure, the Motorola Xoom deserves this price tag considering what it packs, but what if Apple’s iPad 2 will cost at most $799.99? That won’t help Verizon’s sales!

The Verizon document also says that the map price will be available between January 21st and July 21st, but I don’t see the Motorola Xoom anywhere so things might change. In addition to that, the HTC Thunderbolt 4G price will be $249.99.

Well, we’re waiting for Verizon to release these devices so please hurry up dear Big Red!

The Motorola Xoom was the highlight of the Consumer Electronics Show and everybody is expecting to see the tablet on the market no matter the costs. According to this Best Buy internal document, the Motorola Xoom release date is February 17th and you will probably have to agree to a new two-year contract with Verizon.

A second document suggests that the Motorola Xoom price will be $699.99 which is not that much considering the fact that it comes packed with barometer! The Motorola Xoom will become the best table ever released with built-in 32GB memory, dual-core 1GHz Tegra 2 processor, accelerometer, WiFi, 3G support (4G support is coming in a few months), Android 3.0 Honeycomb without any customizations from Moto, 10-inch touchscreen, and 720p HD video recording camera on the back.

One of the best things that happened at CES 2011 was the Motorola Xoom tablet which is practically the tablet many people were waiting for a very long time. Even though the Consumer Electronics Show is over, we’re just discovering the great features of the Motorola Xoom tablet and one of them is the barometer support.

The barometer support is included in Android as of the 2.3 Gingerbread version, however, there aren’t any devices with the hardware that can use it. Well, the Android 3.0-powered Xoom tablet comes with a barometer along with a plethora of other sensors like a magnetometer, gryoscope, accelerometer, and an ambient light sensor. It’s like Motorola stuffed everything in there!

The Motorola Xoom release date is May 2011 at Verizon, but only with 3G support as 4G LTE support will be available shortly after. A few days ago a Motorola executive also confirmed that there will be a Xoom WiFi-only version which will be released in April 2011.

Now that the Motorola Xoom tablet with Android 3.0 Honeycomb sports a barometer it will definitely ease the work of the meteorologists. Tablets are becoming more and more important for a meteorologists because they are easy to use and very portable, and now there’s an extra reason why they should get one.

Today we’re not going to talk about the Motorola Atrix 4G or about the Motorola Droid Bionic, and instead we’re going to focus on the Motorola Xoom tablet which is also going to be released as a WiFi-only version.

At the Consumer Electronics Show 2011 Motorola revealed the Xoom Android 3.0 Honeycomb-powered tablet in partnership with Verizon, both saying that the tablet will support the company’s 3G network and eventually the 4G LTE network. Well, Maurizio Angelone confirmed in an interview with Infobae that the Motorola Xoom WiFi-only is real and that its release date is April 2011.

The scheduled Verizon Motorola Xoom launch date is May 2011, which means that the company will release a WiFi-only version to get things ready. This is some good news and we only hope that Motorola’s Vice President & General Manager Latin America didn’t play a joke on us.

Earlier today we reported that Motorola revealed the Droid Bionic for Verizon’s 4G LTE network during the Consumer Electronics Show 2011. The event went on and so did Motorola who also unveiled the Motorola Xoom tablet. Everybody knew that Motorola was going to release an Android tablet for Verizon and ever since this name was trademarked, we knew its name.

The Motorola Xoom is powered by a dual-core 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 chipset, Android 3.0 Honeycomb, 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen with 1280 x 800 resolution, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, 32GB of built-in memory, 5-megapixel camera on the back with 720p video recording, and a battery which can handle 10 hours of continuous video.

Motorola says that the Xoom Android Honeycomb tablet is capable of playbacking 1080p full HD video and that 4G support will come in the near future. This came as a surprise as we thought that it will support LTE out of the box.

Anyway the Motorola Xoom release date is Q1 2011, while the update which will bring Verizon 4G LTE support will be pushed sometime during Q2 2011. The price of the first Android Honeycomb tablet is unknown at the moment, but Verizon should publish the whole details prior to the Xoom’s release date.
