In the United States, the Mercedes-Benz product portfolio starts off with the C-Class sedan. There are no A-class or B-class players here, which makes the alphabet a bit messed up as well as displeases buyers as they have no cheaper option at hand than the rather pricey C-Class.
It seems the people over at Mercedes-Benz finally realised (part of) this aspect, and decided to offer American and Canadians the possibility of purchasing a B-Class personal car. That’s what we hear in this report from Automotive News at least
We also heard that the we hear that the F-800’s controversial snout is in fact a near match for the next-gen E, and that America could receive a sedan version of the rumored B-Class lineup as well.
So when will the U.S. get cheaper, more fuel efficient Mercedeses, be it B-Class A-Class or some-class?. No one can say for sure at this

Finally an option available from Mercedes-Benz for the family man, or simple guy out there looking for the perfect car. You might try a AMG E63 if you’re a speed maniac, the E350 is all about equilibrium and a bit of everything. Like Mercedeses of old used to be…
The exterior of the new E-class sedan is classic, in both meanings of the term. Bigger than both the C-class players out there and it’s coupe sibling from the E-class, the E350 is just stunning and no more to add beyond what each viewer can see in the gallery. Thank God for quality photos, right? Rounder square lights are what gives the car a new fresh look, and the rear lamps swash across the tail more expressively than before. The lines lean forward as you look at the E350 from the side, giving it a ferocious look you wouldn’t have expected at

This special rank has been offered to Mercedes-Benz by JD Power for the year 2009. A difficult year for everybody, but companies like Mercedes manage to stay on top even when things are getting hairy. J.D. Power and Associates has been indexing customer retention for seven years in the automotive business, however the global marketing information services firm was  founded way back  in 1968.
Power measures how many vehicle buyers are replacing an eariler model of the same brand, and Mercedes-Benz’s 67-percent retention rate tops all others, including the usual suspects, Honda and Toyota.
It seems that what kept customers loyal (and active) and spending with Mercedes-Benz was quality, good marketing and offers, and resale value.
Mercedes-Benz’s first-place finish this year caps a five-year run of increasing numbers, culminating with this year’s best-ever 67 percent, the highest the Power study has measured. Great job Mercedes, German quality and sturdiness like we’re all used

The next-generation C-class from Mercedes will start production in 2014, as the German supermaker confirms. Yes, the popular luxury vehicles that outshined all competition from Audi and BMW in 2000-2007 is getting a new generation, probably dubbed W205.
German production will be consolidated at Daimler’s Bremen factory while units for the North American market will be built in the U.S. This dual building process may seem a burdening task, but the decision is actually a smart one. The diminishing value of the U.S. dollar versus Euro means building cars “on the spot” in the U.S. can save millions. Mercedes also boasts with creating some 2,000 job posts for the 2014 C-Class series, read more on that in the press release.
The 2007 Mercedes-Benz C Class was awarded Car of the Year in Australia by Wheels Magazine, edging out the Ford Mondeo and Mazda 2 for the award. It was also awarded

According to a report in UK magazine AutoCar, German and French super carmakers Mercedes-Benz and Renault are teaming up to create the perfect minicar platform. The new modular platform that the two companies are going to create togheter might be used on both sides as the main “ingredient” for future Eco cars, and not only.
Initially we thought, just like you people did probably, that this is not a likely collaboration. I mean, Mercede and Renault? They might fit in a picture as arch-enemies, not partners. But think of the Smart line, for Mercedes, and of the new Twizzy electric vehicle, for Renault. There isn’t that much room for diversity when it comes to dedicated platforms for mini-cars – so why not work togheter and share the profits?
Like the current Smart ForTwo, the new platform will be rear engine and rear wheel drive but it will be able to accomodate a
