Canadian Police Impounds Ferrari 430 Scuderia And BMW M6 For Street Racing

Ferrari 430 Scuderia

The Canadian Police have impounded a Ferrari 430 Scuderia worth $235,000, after the owner was caught doing illegal street racing, versus a BMW M6. The driver of the $75,000 BMW also got his car impounded.

Having fun is very expensive in Canada. Two Canadians have felt this on their own, when they were caught doing more than 120 mph on a road where the maximum allowed speed was of 40 mph. And because the Police caught them racing on the public roads, the two drivers seen their cars impounded by the authorities. The impounded cars have substantially raised the budged of Mount Seymour.

More than that, the authorities sold the impounded Ferrari 439 Scuderia right away, as the BMW M6 will be auctioned soon, too. Half of the amount of money received for the Italian supercar was given to a relative of the driver, who was in co-ownership of the vehicle and was not involved in the incident.

The Ferrari 430 Scuderia was build in 2008 and it’s the most expensive car the Canadian Police confiscated since the law saying that the drivers seriously violating the road regulations will have their cars impounded. So, from now on, it seems that the Canadians will think twice when it comes to street racing! Or not?!
