The XKR 75 is the creme-de-la-creme of British engineering, and rumour has it that Jaguar boss Dr. Ralf Speth himself issued a challenge to the design time for a special “birthday present”.

As well as a more powerful engine and the obligatory sports exhaust, the XKR 75 gets an upgraded suspension system with a stiffer set-up and slightly reduced height. The manufacturer insists that greater driver focus has been achieved without sacrificing the refinement and comfort that customers expect from a Jaguar, nor luxury or drive stability. You wouldn’t want that black-dress French perfume lady in the right (or left most likely) seat to feel ill from the velocity, would you?

Talking about pretty looks, the special XKR 75 will be wearing a revised aerodynamic body kit with a front splitter, side sill extensions, a rear diffuser and larger rear spoiler. Red brake callipers, 20-inch lightweight alloys and optional body graphics complete the sheer killer look.

Hurry if would like to celebrate along with Jaguar their 75th anniversary, because the XKR is sure to have high demand next month when orders start placement, and only … 75 (you guessed right) units will be produced in this limited series. Prices for the Jaguard supercharged special edition XKR start at £85,500, that’s 127,600 bucks.
