Infiniti Prepares A Rival For Mercedes Benz CLC
Infiniti will develop a front-wheel drive coupe that will rival Mercedes-Benz CLC. The Japanese brand will develops its own version of Nissan Leaf, which will be oriented on the premium segment.
The Japanese from Infiniti announced that they preparing a competitor for Mercedes-Benz CLC. The model will have a coupe profile and will provide three-door hatchback practicality. Besides we talking about the lowest Infiniti ever created, we have to deal with the first front-wheel drive Infiniti – announces an anonymous source, closely related with Japanese brand. The source said that the Infiniti model will provide for the driver good sensations despite the fact that will have front-wheel drive and the example used for the comparison was the Mini Cooper.

The guys from Infiniti want to create a coupe and it will be “completely different” from what other automakers have shown us until now. Unlike the previous models of the Japanese automaker, the new coupe will be designed primarily for Europe market. Moreover, the new model from Infiniti will present a special performance level and will have a strong design inspired by the Essence concept.
The Infiniti engineers will develop and its own version of Nissan Leaf. Thus, the premium brand of Nissan Corporation will benefit from an electric vehicle. The electric motor of this model will be stronger than that of Leaf and the used interior materials are different. The interior design and the appearance will reflect the Infiniti brand. In the presentation of the new models from Infiniti, the Japanese presented a new image of the prototype of Nissan Land Glider. The model is a part of electric future of Nissan brand and we can expect new information about this in the coming months.
