“I’m Sorry” Said Schumacher To Barrichello By An SMS

Schumacher’s SMS has apologized for pilotage aggressive Rubens Barrichello in Hungary and Brazil agreed to reconcile with his former teammate at Ferrari.

Rubens Barrichello and Michael Schumacher fought fiercely for 10th place in the race at the Hungaroring to the end of the event, and  Mercedes GP team driver  vigorously defended,  pushing his rival for wall protection.

Brazilian handle the discontent, because it was a step to cause an accident, and Schumacher was happy to apologize to him via a press release.

The conflict ended only in Thursday’s paddock at Spa-Francorchamps, when Schumacher  sent a text message on Barrichello mobile phone to apologize. The German made this move on the pretext of congratulating his former teammate at Ferrari for the 300th anniversary of racing in the Grand Circus.

“I have no problem talking to Barrichello. There were two reasons why I sent a text message and one of them was that of his 300 th Grand Prix and have a history together. I thought it appropriate to congratulate and to clarify the situation, because the left with the impression that I pushed the wall, but that was not my ambition. I wanted to compete at the boundary without any contact. If he thinks I pushed wall, then I’m sorry for that, ” said  Schumacher at Spa-Francorchamps.

Although lately criticized harshly for his style of flying Schumacher, Barrichello said he accepted his apology and that has no personal problem with him.

“I received today a message from him an SMS. Someone said that I was under the impression that pushed me into the wall, he said that was the case and apologized for it. I just said < thanks, no problem>. I accepted apologies and I wished to have a good weekend. Life goes on, ” explained the Brazilian.

Schumacher and Barrichello were team mates at Ferrari for six years during 2000-2005, and collaboration between the two has often been affected by  1 pilot status of German under the Scuderia.
