Hennessey Delivered The First Venom GT Of 1184 HP

The First Hennessey Venom GT

Hennessey announced officially the deliver of the first Venom GT, in the top version, with 1184 HP, capable of achieving a maximum speed of 272 mph.

Hennessey today announced the delivery of the first Venom GT, of 1184 HP, a customer of United Arab Emirates. The top version of the American model is powered by a supercharged V8 engine, a properly operated by a manual gearbox with six reports, taken from the Ford GT.

John Hennessey, the founder of the niche automaker, claims that resources under the hood, the 1184 HP and 1134 lb-ft of torque can propel the new Venom GT from 0-60 mph in just 2.4 seconds and from 0-124 mph in seven seconds. Under these conditions, the maximum speed reaches up to a record, of 272 mph.

Hennessey promised to demonstrate in the near future the performances that new Venom GT is able, thus its ability to knock down the Veyron’s speed record.

I think that Hennessey still not known that Bugatti prepares a new version of Veyron, more exactly Veyron Supersport, the supercar that will have 1200 HP and reach to 264 mph. It seems that this war will not stop very soon. We still wait what “monsters” will run on the streets and I think that Bugatti will have hard battles with Hennessey in the future.
