BMW Series 0 Video: Official Leak?
BMW Series 1 is their entry-level car series, but it’s by no means a cheap or light one by today’s standard. So, probably, they plan to got a bit lower to offer efficient, affordable cars to more people in an effort to stay on top of things in this (ending?) financial crisis. So far so good and no real news, this all sounds pretty familiar. But how should they name this new entry-level series? Pure logic would say: Series 0. Common sense would say that’s silly, and not at all creative.
BMW Series 0, the future entry-level model series
What about BMW themselves? It seems they might actually go with the math and launch a new BMW 0 Series. This model designation has already been glimpsed, at new video released for the German maker’s Innovation Days in Asia, were you can see a prominently display of still images that may very well be early sketches of the upcoming 0 Series.
In simple words: a really affordable BMW, that looks just as hot as any BMW out there, with low fuel consumption and also coming soon? Sounds good, and looks good too, with deeply sculpted sides, a nicely sloping rear hatch and large, vertically oriented kidney grilles indicate a design language that’s suitably differentiated from current rear-wheel-drive BMWs.
