The good news continues for the current and the potential owners of Ford Mustang. After they released the Boss 302 version, the Americans have now turned the attention to the new Mustang GT fans. The result? A new package of supercharged for the V8 5.0-liter engine!

The supercharging system is available in three versions, each using a Whipple twin-screw supercharger of 2.3-liter, air-to-liquid intercooler, intake and increased flow injectors. If the base package goes up the V8 5.0-liter engine power from 412 HP to 525 HP and 470 lb-ft of torque, the second kit offers no less than 624 HP and 536 lb-ft of torque, thus making the Mustang GT into a serious drag racing subscriber.

The last but not the least, was called Tuner Kit and allows for the enthusiasts to the possibility to build their own system of charge. No information about the power were not associated with this selection, the final figures probably remain at the discretion of the customer.

The starting price was set around the amount of $ 6,500, the first version of the supercharger kit is, however, and the only one which comes with a warranty of 12 months/12.000 miles (when is installed by a Ford or Lincoln dealer).

It seems that the stock power of new Ford Mustang Boss 302 was not enough.
