VIDEO: Road Test With Audi R8 e-Tron Concept

Even though I said many times that I hate the Audi R8, I can’t say that I don’t like its bended lines. So what Audi did with the e-Tron concept is amazing. The 3319 lb-ft torque is fabulous and the  313 HP are sent to all four wheels by electric motors on each wheel, making us fall in love, like many times before with the Audi Quattro System.

So what do you need more? You’ve got four wheel-drive (and not any four-wheel drive, the Quattro), 313 HP, and a monstrous 3319 lb-ft torque, all these with zero CO2 emission. Yes, the Audi e-Tron is ultimate electric supercars ever made. We liked it even in orange when we saw one on the floor of the LA Auto Show 2009.

And guess what, there are some lucky guys that even drove this beauty. The 3319 lb-ft of torque electric concept made by Audi underpinning the R8, was tested in US by some journalists. What;s their opinion about the car? Just watch the video and see what a masterpiece Audi has created.
