Chevrolet Cruze RS And Eco, Versions For The American Public

Chevrolet will launch  two versions of the Cruze model on the U.S. market. It is an Eco version, for those obsessed with consumption, and an RS for those who want a sporty look.

Chevrolet will unveil  two special version of the Cruze model at the New York Motor Show,  only for U.S. market. The compact sedan adopted two packages, diametrically opposed to the idea, but targeted to public preferences.

Therefore were talking about a sporty RS kit directed towards   customers with a great appetite for aesthetic changes and ECO kit for those who care for the consumption.

The Eco  version is powered by a gasoline Ecotec engine, 1.4 liters and 138 horsepower, but able to provide sufficient power and a low of only 5.8 liters outside the city. Although it’s a version  strictly oriented to obtain greater autonomy , Cruze Eco can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 10 seconds, when using a manual gear.

To reduce the version’s aerodynamic , Chevrolet installed an aerodynamic kit also, which comes with subtle but important changes: a slot grille that closes at high speeds and  opens at low speeds to allow the cooling of the engine, a rear spoiler, panels installed in the bodywork, a lowered ride height and 17-inch aluminum wheels,  wearing  low rolling resistance tires.

On the other hand,  the sporty  Cruze RS adopted a  bodykit designed to increase aggressive traits. It includes a new grille
, Side skirts, a rear spoiler insertion and   17-inch wheels alloy rims. Inside, the attention was focused on the display, which receives  chrome and aluminum accents.
