OFFICIAL: Shinari Concept – Future Mazda Models

Shinari  concept design, Mazda officially unveiled today, will underpin the Japanese automaker’s guidelines for future models.

Mazda shows today  the Shinari concept official images, a four-door coupe with both elegant and sporty carriage which, according to statements by Japanese officials mark, has the design guidelines for future cooming models. The new Mazda design language called Kodo, the  Japanese word  meaning  ”soul and  movement.”

“These lines will represent the new generation design of Mazda design. We want to play in the same league with BMW and Audi. And we do not only  refered ar design but also the materials and finishes,”  said Ikuo Maeda, general manager of design office  of the Japanese mark.  Shinari concept was developed in collaboration between the three great offices of Mazda’s creation (Japanese, European and American one), but influences come mainly from the first two.

Japanese company has not specified which will be the first model that will take the concept Shinari lines,the people from Mazda being greedy at  technical data section and additional information about their prototype. Very likely, they will appear around the concept  official launch day, the official presentation its going to take place September 30, at the Paris Motor Show.
