The French brand has always managed to surprise us with the design of its models, but the new Survolt Concept simply beats everything they showed us so far.
As we expected, the Citroen press release regarding the Survolt Concept is full of pompous descriptions, very difficult to understand and especially to believe. However, when you see its design, it looks like nothing else matters. It was designed to combine “agility, precision and vitality, barely containing a powerful, well-defined musculature under refined and luxurious wraps.” The quoted text is extracted from the official press release, if it is necessary to specify this.

Citroen will launch at Geneva Motor Show a new concept, named Survolt. According to the early information provided by the French, the concept will revolutionize the electric vehicle segment.
Although they prepared two very important premieres for Geneva, both bearing the imprint DS stamp, more precisely the  DS3 Racing and the DS High Rider, Citroen is not stopping there. The French automaker will be exhibiting at the Swiss auto show another concept, named Survolt, which wants to be a new exponent of their electric intentions.

Citroen officially presented the 200 HP sport version of the DS3, the premium subcompact model of the French automaker.
Citroen has finally launched a production version of one of their models truly devoted to the six consecutive wins that Sebastien Loeb has succeeded in WRC. If, until now, the Loeb fans could only enjoy the C4 by Loeb version, that developed only 150 HP, now they will be happy with a smaller and more powerful model: DS3 Racing. The Racing version of the first representative of the new premium Citroen range will develop 200 HP and it is meant to step up for the battle with Clio RS and develop 25 horsepower more than the Mini Cooper S, the next competitor in the segment.

The Citroen fans and Sebastien Loeb will have in 2011 a sport version of the DS3. This will develop 200 HP and will be the rival of Clio RS and Mini Cooper S.
Citroen will launch in 2011 a version 200 HP version of DS3. The first model in the premium segment DS “invented” by Citroen in the same time with the French brand relaunch, in 2009, will have now a sport version that will be a tribute to the performances of Sebastien Loeb in the WRC.
The special version will be called DS3 R3 and will have a revised 1.6-liter turbo engine developed by BMW and PSA Peugeot Citroen. It may push the model from 0 to 60 mph in about 6 seconds, the performance recommending the French model for the segment now dominated by Clio RS and Mini Cooper S.
