Tuners from AC Schnitzer, BMW specialists in change, they made a package for the new 5 Series.

Germans from AC Schnitzer have presented their new BMW 5 Series package. The kit comes with a number of goodies at the maneuverability and aesthetic changes, but also with an increased power for 530d version. In terms of handling, BMW 5 Series received a set of springs which reduce ground clearance by 25 mm, a set of wheels available in both 19-inch version and 20-inch version, with a performance-braking system, receiving eight-piston calipers.

Aesthetic package fits well into the overall look of his 5-Series F10 and includes elements for the German model interior to. The exterior receives a new front bumper, chrome grille, a rear skirt, a rear window visor for a set of  side skirts and a spoiler located on the trunk lid. The interior receives a sports steering wheel with carbon fiber, along with a number of elements made of carbon fiber.Package of changes to the interior is completed by a set of aluminum sport pedals.

BMW 530d’s engine has received an additional 41 HP thanks to changes made to the ECU unit. HAMANN engineers works  on package versions 520d, 525d and 535d’s 5 Series F10.  Besides reprogrammed ECUs, it has received a new exhaust system, receiving final chrome tips specific sites, but those of Hamann noted that the amendment does not bring any benefit in terms of power, being present  for  aesthetic reasons.

Although the 2010 BMW 5 Series is not yet on the streets, the Gremans from Lumma Design, digitally show us that the German limo’s tuning potential is huge.

The new BMW 5 Series will get on the street in 2010, and unlike the old generation, is obvious a more elegant car, with a more classy stile. The German tuner Lumma, in a collaboration with the Russians from Topcar, show us that, despite the tamely look, the tuning fits the car like a glove. For now, we can only talk about a digital tuning, but the pictures look very good and if this kit will ever see the sun light, in a very close form, definitely, aspirants will appear quickly.

The front spoiler is very aggressive, with a lot of scoops and sharp edges, the side skirts having slits in the rear wheels lugs and the fenders are slightly flared, and the rear bumper integrates four exhausts and a diffuser. As well, the line of the trunk is relieved by a fine spoiler. You can also see a reduced ride hight, making us understand that Lumma will also bring a sporty suspension, too. Details about the technical modifications were not unveiled yet, but we hope they will be at least as good as the visual ones.
