Audi will come for the first time at SEMA Show, the tuning auto show in Las Vegas, which is scheduled for the beginning of November. The German automaker will display not less than six models, among them an Audi R8 V10 Spyder of 710 HP.

Audi, the German automaker, is set to come for the first time at SEMA Show, the most important tuning event in the automotive world, which will take place in Las Vegas between November 2 and 5. The star of the Inglolstadt automaker will be Audi TTS Autonomous Pikes Peak, the result of a collaboration between the German brand, Sun Microsystems and Standford University.

The system developed by the ones involved in this project features a wireless remote that controls the throttle, the brake, the steering and the transmission of the car. Thanks to this system, Audi TTS Autonomus can be drove without a driver.

As well, the public can meet the R8 V10 Spyder tuned by STaSIS Engineering, as the car will be displayed at Audi’s stand. The German supercar hides under its hood the 5/2-liter V10 engine, capable of developing 518 HP. The modifications of the American tuners consist in fitting a supercharger and a new sports exhaust system.

After these changes, the German supercar develops 710 HP, and develops a maximum torque of 709 Nm and sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds. In addition, Audi R8 V10 Spyder received a new set of suspensions, Alcon brake system and 20 inch rims.

At Audi’s stand at SEMA the public can also admire the S5 Convertible, Q5 and S4, models that were tuned by the same American tuner. “Let’s just say we’ll have a few distinctive, concept items on the stand that definitely won’t disappoint the unique SEMA audience,” said David Tait, Audi USA lead after-sales executive.
