The magnificent Audi R8 GTR tuned by ABT leave the special matte color and dress for the first time in his carrier – especially for Essen Auto Show 2010 – a chrome film, able to attract all the present public eyes.

The weapon of the tuner from Kempten is lighter with 220 pounds compared to a standard Audi R8. To this performance contributing the hood, the spoiler extension, the side mirrors, the side panels, the rear diffuser and the carbon fiber rear spoiler, plus the Makrolon windows. Also, the interior breathe the same racing air like the exterior, being equipped with Recaro seats, four-point safety belts, roll cage and, of course, the never missed carbon fiber inserts.

Under the hood, ABT R8 GTR hides a V10 5.2-liter engine and develops 620 HP, enough to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.2 seconds. In addition, the barrier of 124 mph is destroyed after only 9.9 seconds, the German Supercar is capable to reaching a top speed 202 mph. And that’s not all. For a unique behavior, both on the road and also on the track, the German tuner installed and an adjustable suspension, ceramic brakes and 19 inch wheels.

New ABT R8 GTR will be produced in only 25 copies, Essen Auto Show is such a perfect excuse to admire the German beast in all its splendor.
