Abarth Punto EVO And Abarth 500c – Two Little Beasts Come To Geneva 2010

Abarth has presented the first official pictures of the Punto EVO and 500C before their debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2010.

The Italians from Abarth revealed their on versions of the Fiat Punto EVo and Fiat 500C models before the official launch at Geneva Auto Show. The two models are expected to make their debut on 2 March, and they promise performance many will envy.

Fiat Punto EVO, in the Abarth version develops 161 hp thanks to a 1.4-liter MultiAir engine, and the Italians will create essesse a version that will develop 178 HP. According to Abarth, Punto Evo accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 7.5 seconds while the top speed is 133 mph. Other details of this model will be unveiled at the time of its debut at the Geneva Motor Show.

Abarth 500C is equipped with a 1.4-liter Tjet engine that offers 138 HP. For now, the Italians have not given any information about a potential esesse version, but there is an option to equip this model with a robotic gearbox controlled via the paddles on the  steering wheel – as if in the 695 Tributo version. The Abarth version of the Fiat 500C accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 7.9 seconds while top speed is 127 mph. As if the Punto EVO, Abarth will unveil the details of this model within the Geneva Auto Show, in March.
