GALLERY: New 2011 Mercedes CLS Ready To Debut At Paris Auto Show 2010
The second generation Mercedes CLS is ready to make the debut at Paris Motor Show 2010. This is why the model has serious competition in the segment, but its creators are not worried at alll.
The Germans at Mercedes have unveiled the first pictures of the new CLS, a model that is set to make its debut at Paris Auto Show, this fall. CLS is now at the second generation, and its creators say that the new model has a more athletic character, and a cat’s silhouette. The guys at Mercedes-Benz have not announced yet the details of the CLS’ engines, but they presented a part of the new features of the model. On the of the new features is the LED headlights, that have 71 LEDs and offer a higher degree of illumination, compared with the same systems of this type.

About New Mercedes CLS’ design, we can say that it makes us think about the SLS AMG supercar, the front grill being dominated by the Mercedes-Benz logo, and this thing underlines the model’s relationship with the other coupes built by the German automaker. Inside, the dashboard is the representation of a cockpit which surrounds the driver and presents him all the informations he needs while driving. The dashboard’s top is wrapped in satin-finished materials, and the whole interior is “packed” with wood and leather. As optional, the guys at Mercedes-Benz offers fiber-carbon or wood finished in a glossy black accessories.
