Hyundai Equus 2011 Official Details Released [+ photos ]
The new Hyundai Equus is coming soon,so Hyundai offered the press full information on the two configurations that will be offered for the United States: Equus Signature and Equus Ultimate The 2011 Equus is going to be the new Hyundai flagship, and the two trims are looking good indeed, and a rear-wheel competitor to be feared next year, with it’s powerful 385 hp V8 engine. Actually, this engine seems to be the key focus of Hyundai’s engeneering teams, as it might also be used on the facelifted 2012 Hyundai Genesis, and possibly with the 2nd Generation Hyundai Genesis Coupe too.
The Signature version comes with almost everything: leather and Alcantara interior, heated steering wheel, climate controlled seating with a massaging driver’s seat, Smart Cruise Control, parking assistance, air suspension and a 17-speaker, 608-watt Lexicon stereo are at the beginning of a terrifically long list.
What more could you want from the Korean luxury sedan? Well, the Equus Ultimate features around-the-corner-view cameras to the parking assist, power trunk, and in back, reclining, cooled rear seats with their own massage function and leg support. An Ipad manual is also equipped on the front panel with this more expensive model, so you can easily take your music wherever the road may lead. For a real luxury experience the Ultimate trim also packs a rear seat refrigerator. The rest of the treats can be found in the included press release.
