2010 Mercedes E Class Cabrio Unveils Its Secrets

Mercedes E Class Cabrio was forcibly unveiled when his official patent was registered and the sketches  ended up in the media, and having a “semi-official” unveil. Now, we discover what technological innovations this car suggests.

Initially, Mercedes E Class Cabrio was unveiled in some non-artistic situations, at the registration of the patent, but the French from Automobile magazine present us the first pictures of the new cabriolet. It is not quite a mystery, because it was spied several times until now, and some publication even rendered the car, but it is an official confirmation of how this car will look like.

It can be observed that the 2010 Mercedes E Class is a genuine four-seated convertible and it has a  conventional soft top. Mercedes even thought of how to extend the utilization of the cabriolet on the duration of the whole year and besides Aircap, another system coming with the car is Airscarf. You probably heard of it, because it was previously offered with the SLK, and you know that thanks to some air slots around the seats, a some kind of warm air “scarf” is created around the neck and the head.

Besides, we can see that the windows’ line looks just like the one on the coupe version, being a explicit rival for Audi A5, being very much alike this car even as conception. BMW and Lexus, the other two players of this league, opted for metallic roofs, leaving the conventional convertibles behind. Under the hood of the E Class Cabrio will be the same engines the coupe version has, from the 204 HP 2.0-liter diesel to the gas 5.5-liter V8 with 388 HP.
