The limo builders in USA are developing creations that are getting more and more extreme. An example worthy to mention is this 2010 Audi Q7, successfully transformed in a limo as modern as possible. The car we are talking about can transport up to 16 passengers. Once the gullwing doors are opened an you entered the car, lots of neons and LCD TVs, leather seated sofas (and not any kind of leather, they used alligator and snake leather – I wonder what is PETA’s opinion about the car) and even a fish bowl will be next to you in all your journeys/parties in this amazing limo. The theme the designers chose for the interior of the car was disco.

Even so, all that crosses my mind when I look at the interior of the car are some nice girls an lots of champaign. So, what do you think about this limo? I’m waiting for your comments!

The pre-production tests of the Aston Martin One-77 supercar ahve unveiled the British car’s top speed on a circuit: 220.39 mph.

Aston Martin officially announced that their new supercar, One-77, broke the top speed record of the British brand’s models, reaching 220.39 miles per hour during a private test made last week. The British car is in the pre-launching testing stage, the engineers preparing the model that will hit the market in 2010 on a testing track, who’s name is kept secret, in Southern Europe.

The performance is even more meritorious, because the first informations Aston Marting made public so far showed that the model will hit a top speed of just 199 mph. The performance of the Aston Martin supercar was set on tarmac, in dry weather conditions, but on a strong wind. The dynamic tests of the model will continue till the New Years Eve, not excluding that the British engineers team will unveil new top performances of the supercar.

2010 Aston Martin One-77 has under the hood a 7.3-liter naturally aspired V12 engine that develops over 700 HP, and the Britons will produce – just like its name suggests – only 77 pieces of it. Although the launch date was scheduled this years Fall, you will be able to admire the car on a road only in the second half of the next year. The final price of the One-77 was not unveiled yet, but the numbers suggested by the international press vary between $1.7 million and $2.6 million.

BMW unveiled this weekend informations and pictures of the new BMW Z4 sDrive35is, a 340 HP roadster. This Z4 set new design borders for the special roadster segment, by mixing the classic proportions with the modern sportiveness. The new sDrive35is version raised the maximum power of the 3.0-liter engine at 340 HP. The peak of the torque diagram is at 332 lb-ft, but it can record a jump, to 369 lb-ft, thanks to the Overboost system. In combination with the automatic seven-gears Sport transmission, the car has an accelerates to 60 mph in just 4.8 seconds. This is helped by the inline six engine, with BMW Twin Turbo and High Precision Injection Technology, and by the automatic BMW Sport transmission, with double clutch and M Sport kit that includes M adjustable suspension, also available on the stock version.

With a mileage of 26 mpg and a EU CO2 emissions level of 210 g/km, the BMW Z4 sDrive35is will have it world premiere at the 2010 edition of the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), in Detroit.

More nerve, more torque, more driving pleasure

BMW Z4 sDrive35i comes with an inline-six twin-turbo engine. The combination between the BMW Twin Turbo and High Precision Injection technology offers a level of performance specific to engine with more cylinders and higher capacity, with the benefit of a lower weight and better mileage.

The engine with BMW Twin Turbo uses two small turbo compressors which, with their reduced inertia, give their help from reduced engine rotations. Every turbine works with three cylinders. The maximum torque of 332 lb-ft is reached even from 1,400 rpm and stays so until 4,500 rpm. The maximum power is delivered at 5,800 rpm

The Overboost Function

The modified BMW Z4 sDrive35is engine allows the use of an Overboost function that brings a plus of 37 lb-ft of torque. So, the peak of the torque diagram reaches 369 lb-ft of torque. The new model has a medium mileage of 26 mpg and CO2 emissions of 210 grams per kilometer in the EU testing cycle.

Other technology from the BMW EfficientDynamics strategy offered as stock are the BMW Brake Energy Regeneration, BMW EPS Electric Power Steering, and the smart control of the auxiliary electric units (e.g. the water pump)

Seven-speed automatic Sport transsmision

The engine is hooked with a seven-speed automatic Sport transmission, with double clutch, found in the stock version of the BMW Z4 sDrive35is. Another point of interest is the double flywheel, custom built for power and performance boost.

The electronic automatic Sport transmission control was built for the superior power end performances of the engine. Mainly when it comes to shifting gears, combined with the SPORT and SPORT+ mods of the Dynamic Driving Control, the transmission offers a dynamic experience. The automatic Sport transmission also has a Launch Control function, for maximum performance when you accelerate to start your car.

Available as stock for BMW Z4 sDrive35is: the M Sport kit and the M adjustable suspension

BMW Z4 sDrive35is has, as stock, the M Sport kit, which includes the M aerodynamic kit and the M adjustable suspension, with electronically controlled dampers, lowering the whole car with 0.4 inches. Available as stock, the 18 inch rims, made of light alloy, with a five spoke design, wearing tires of different sizes in the front and in the back, complete the sporty character of the 2010 BMW Z4 sDrive35is.

Until the launching of the new car, the M Sport kit will be available as optional to other versions of this BMW roadster, too. The only difference is that the other models get the M 18 inch wheels instead of the custom BMW Z4 sDrive35is rims.

The finishing mate aluminium elements are the mark of the 2010 BMW Z4 sDrive35is. The rear bumper comes with ending accents on the exhausts, as well with a two pieces diffuser, custom made for BMW Z4 sDrive35is, with the upper side having car’s color, and black on the inferior on.

World’s fith largest automaker, Ford, plans to install itself as the top player in India – a volatile and expanding market of business in general, not only auto. Figo, Italian slang for “coolness” is the new name of a small car to be made starting with 2010 in Indian Chennai. Ford plans to set up a plant and produce around 200,000 per year, probably not only Figos.

In case you like this small lime, and you should in most cases unless you can afford a more expensive and thirsty vehicle, you must know it’s for India only at this point. Ford seems to have declared war on the local more young Tata firm, and Indian buyers-to-be should keep their eyes open as we will make sure to keep the Ford Figo (sounds nice together,right?) subject covered.

The introduction of the new Ford Figo marks a significant shift for India’s role in Ford’s strategy. Transformed with a production capacity of 200,000 units, the integrated Chennai manufacturing facility is now positioned as a Ford regional centre of excellence for small-car engineering and production.

Ford Figo models will be produced at the plant for export to international markets. The plant is also being groomed to produce diesel and petrol engines for local vehicle production and export within Ford’s Asia Pacific and Africa region.
