Ferrari auctioned the first copy of Ferrari 458 Italia destined to U.S. market. The entire amount collected will be for the victims of Haiti.
First Ferrari 458 Italia for the U.S. market was sold in an auction against payment of $530,000, the entire amount was meant for a fund to assist the victims of the earthquake on Haiti. The auction was organized in Los Angeles by Ferrari officials, taking part in this 500 guest names in the high-class world of overseas.

In addition to the amount gathered in the auction for the Italian model, Ferrari on sale the same opportunity to tender for two VIP tickets to the team Cabra Pony at Canadian Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2010 and for officially slip that Fernando Alonso weared in F1 this year. These two auctions have gathered extra over $68,000.

British manufacturer has officially announced Ginetta buying another niche carmaker, namely Farbio, which existed on the market only since 2005.
Ginetta British automaker, specialized in the segment of sports cars, announced the acquisition of another niche car builder, the less popular Farbio recognized by the enthusiasts after its GTS model, rival of the Porsche Cayman.
The Leeds-located automaker secured in this way a new product in its range of models, Farbio GTS will receive the Ginetta logo and will be sold in the Brits’ showrooms. Although the acquisition was a total, Chris Marsh, Farbio founder, remained General Manager, planning to deal with the future of the GTS model.

Denmark has no auto industry, but has Zenvo ST1 able to give speed lessons to many of the traditional supercars.
This project started in 2004, being the work of the Zenvo Automotive, a group of ambitious engineers, and the first copies will appear in 2009, if everything goes on plan. From the first pictures, the Danish supercar seems an interesting one, Zenvo ST1 bringing the cross between the Audi R8 Nissan GT-R, seasoned with sharp details of the Lamborghini Reventon. The really interesting part comes under the hood. Where a twinturbo 7-liter V8 engine is responsible for producing of 1104 HP.
The Danish stable hits 60 mph in 3.2 seconds and top speed is expected to be 223 mph, impressive but not as good as the Bugatti Veyron. Also, the reaching of 125 mph mark is achieved in 9 seconds. The first tests with a prototype was made in October this year.
