The collaboration between Volkswagen and Suzuki could form a moto  division in the future, in the German car maker. That will benefit by Japanese experience on this segment.
The windfall of the 20% holding of Suzuki offered Volkswagen a lot of opportunities. One of the most important would be the Germans chance to enter  the moto segment, where Suzuki is doing very well and has a hard-set image.
The alliance between VW an Suzuki could make this the world’s largest automaker group.

“We first made contact with Suzuki in August, 2009 and visited Hamamatsu (where Suzuki has its head office) in November. While there, we were able to have the same level of technical discussions with the Suzuki engineers as we usually have with the engineers in VW’s head office. We speak the same language because the engineers at both companies share a great emphasis on technological development” said VW chief, Martin Winterkorn.

Volkswagen R is the name of the performance division of the German automaker, which will deal with the modification and customize of the existing models in the range.
After they unveiled the Scirocco R and Golf R models, the official announcement that a separate performance division  within Volkswagen will be created was only a matter of time.
The German automaker has not extended the fan’s waiting time and has confirmed the rumors: the two sports models initiate the R GmbH division, responsible for future versions of Volkswagen performance models and sports packages. In the future, the future R Line sport packages and the future Volkswagen Exclusive custom kits will see the sunlight within the performance workshop.

ABT was involved in the modification of the most powerful Golf available. The result? An even more powerful Golf, obviously.
The body kit for Volkswagen Golf R is the same prepared by ABT for the GTI version; it comes with changed spoilers, ABT daylights, 18 or 19 inch wheels and new accessories for the interior. Geneva Salon 2010 is the name of the new iPhone application released by Volkswagen. This is very useful to the visitors of the Geneva Motor Show and can be downloaded for free from the AppStore.
