Dodge celebrates 40 years of age with a special edition Challenger model, named Furious Fuchsia, which comes painted in a slightly more feminine color.
As its name says, the bodywork was painted in pink or fuchsia and then matched with a dual chrome exhaust and a set of 20-inch wheels, of course made of aluminum, specially created by the American automaker. For the inside, customers will enjoy some pearl white leather, and a new lever for manual gearbox and an identification plate.
Furious Fuchsia edition will be found on R/T Classic version, powered by a 5.7 liter V8, 376 HP and 410 lb-ft of torque, or on the top SRT8, powered by a V8 HEMI of 6.1 liters, 425 HP and 419 lb-ft.

So this year was no exception, as not less than six automakers wanted a piece of the advertising space Superbowl offered. So, Volkswagen, Kia, Dodge, Honda, Hyundai and Audi displayed their commercials in an attempt to attract as many customers as possible.

The fastest model in the world based on Chrysler LX/LC’s platform is a Dodge Charger with 900 HP, which was modified by the American tuners from SpeedFactory.
The American tuners from SpeedFactory developed a modified version of Dodge Charger 426 Hemi that can make a 1/4 mile in just 9.453 seconds. This is the fastest model built on a Chrysler LX/LC platform in the world. This platform is used by Dodge Charger Magnum and Challenger, but also by Chrysler 300C. The American tuners claim to have set a new world record with this model.
SpeedFactory’s version of Dodge Charger 426 is equipped with a Hemi V8 engine that benefits from a Vortech V7 YSI supercharger and offers a total of 900 hp. The interior of this model was removed to reduce Charger’s total mass to 3748 lbs. Dodge comes at Detroit Auto Show 2010 only with new packages  and special editions of the current line-up. Of these, the new Dodge Nitro and it’s three packages points out : Heat, Detonator and Shock.
In 2010, the guys from Dodge say that they have removed the word “basic equipment” from their vocabulary, as many options become standard equipment in new equipment versions. This also works for Dodge Journey, Caliber and, especially, Nitro, which promises to attract the most visitors to the Dodge stand at Detroit 2010.
The last one becomes interesting at least in terms of new equipment levels, the names bending with the name of the car: Heat, Detonator and Shock. Nitro Heat will have very interesting  standard features as 20″ wheels, 9″ audio system with subwoofer and 368 watts or tinted windows and some other facilities which were previously optional.
