Bugatti has unveiled in a private event held in Geneva a new Galibier 16C copy, the four-seats brother of the current Veyron.
Bugatti exhibited in Geneva two special versions of the Veyron Grand Sport model, but kept the icing on the cake for a private event, held near the auto show, but far away from the curious eyes of the public.
The Volkswagen subsidiary unveiled a new version of the Galibier 16C model, the four-seated brother of the more popular Veyron. The event revealed a Galibier with the body painted in black, a more sober color than the original one.

The Luxury sedan will adopt the same 16-cylinder power unit, 8-liter and 4 turbochargers, also found on Bugatti Veyron. But, in Galibier 16C’s situation, the giant engine will offer between 800 and 1,000 horsepower.
Although they dind’t let us understand when we see the four-doors on the streets, Bugatti highlated that the public’s response and especially

The exclusive world of supercars has a price to match, and the Bugatti Veyron makes no exception. An usual inspection has a price of about $21,000, the amount of money that can bring you a Volkswagen Polo with an average level of equipment.
The Brits from Autocar made an analysis of maintenance costs that must the owner of a Bugatti Veyron must bear. Besides the enormous cost of acquisition and high fuel consumption of a Veyron, the owner pays each year $21,015 for a routine inspection. This amount is so big that matches price of a brand new Volkswagen Polo, with a medium level equipment, or the price of entry-level version of VW Golf VI. Unfortunately for the Veyron owners, the inspections are not the only the problem that they encounter. The very frustrating element for the owners of the Veyron is that a similar inspection for a Ferrari Enzo cost the equivalent $2,742.

In these testing times and sharp automotive industry, giving credit and showing some respect to the market areas you depend on, or benefit especially from, is a must. A must as a strategic move and a must from the economic perspective. Ettore Bugatti might have been an eccentric genius but today’s Bugatti management team knows that a respectful policy and new concepts are the key to success in the Middle East and the rest of the world for that matter of fact.
The Middle East triumvirate will consist of the Veyron Nocturne, which features “galvanized side windows” that add continuity to the polished aluminum body panel accents, and there are also polished wheels and a “black nanocoated magnesium dashboard” with a center console rendered in galvanized platinum. Just five examples will be built. The other two special made for and first shown in Dubai models are the “Sang d’Argent” and a

In September, when the Frankfurt Motor Show crazed the entire blogosphere, some pictures and details about the Bugatii Galibier concept might have got lost in the blizzard, even if we did post about it. Well, not we have an updated, and a hot video for you with the Bugatti Galibier shinning out of the shadows!
To be powered by the insane engine that moves the Veyron (and let’s hope it doesn’t move it in some lake, like you can see here), Galibier is awesome but still just a concept. Bugatti will do their best to launch a polished, perfected car. They can afford no less at this point of time. It just might outsthine the rather stigmatized Veyron, it sure does so -already!- in my eyes. Let’s hope we’ll see the car in all it’s splendour live at the Los Angeles Motor Show.

Where can you find a million dollar sports-car these days? In lakes, yes in water these days!
Fishing out a Bugatti Veyron, the French supercar present in most driver’s dreams, from a salt marsh in Texas state USA is probably the last thing rescue teams thought of doing this end of the work week.
But how did the car end there? The anonymous driver told the police that a low-flying pelican passing by distracted him, and that’s when he dropped his cell phone, reached to pick it up and veered off the road and into the salt marsh. The car was half-submerged in the brine about 20 feet from the road when police arrived. Police Lt. Greg Gilchrist confirmed (source: Associated Press) that the man declared a bird distracted him and that’s how the accident happened. Luckily, no one was hurt, and the Bugatti was only has submerged in the salty
