Bentley’s new flagship model which brings back the Mulsanne name, and will replace the Arnage, was unveiled at the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, on 16 August 2009. The car is expected to go on sale during 2010. Coupe and convertible variants are expected to follow at some point as replacements for the Arnage-based Brooklands and Azure respectively.
Bentley just issued a press release, finally detailing all of the specs on their new Mulsanne sedan…and it’s a big one. They are, actually, as the car will have almost three tons of pure British style. The Bentley Mulsanne’s curb weight is listed at 5,700 pounds, or roughly three Lotus Elises par example.
What will power this massive yet elegant Bentley? Seems like too much of a job for one “man”, so a twin-turbo 6.75-liter V8 will be on duty, delivering 505 horsepower at 4200 rpm and

It’s now official and widely known that the new Bentley Mulsanne offers a very healthy 505bhp, but more importantly it has the huge lump of torque we expect from a big Bentley – 752lb/ft. To go on sale sometime in mid 2010, the Mulsanne will come in Coupe and convertible variants are expected to follow at some point as replacements for
