The engine received a modified electronic, new air filters, performance catalysts and an exhaust system that can be tuned by remote control.
How does it works exactly? A sensor measures the pressure in the exhaust system and in case the values are too high, it orders the opening of a 2.7 inches valve. The advantage is given by the high torque at low speeds, without compromising the maximum power. And, in addition, the driver can control, by remote, the sound of the exhaust.

Kobe Bryant and Aston Martin have been the inspiration for the Nike’s design team, which launched a limited series of basketball shoes, the Hyperdunk range, with the Aston Martin logo and name of Bryant.
Nike launched a limited edition of the Hyperdunk range, named Hyperdunk Kobe Bryant Aston Martin edition. Unfortunately just 500 pairs will be produce, which are sold at the moment only by the guys from OSneaker.com. The tag of one pair is of $700.

This is not the first collaboration between the three famous brands. In 2008 Kobe Bryant jumped over an Aston Martin, in a viral ad. The clip is part of the marketing campaign for the Hyperdunk range of those of Nike.

The pre-production tests of the Aston Martin One-77 supercar ahve unveiled the British car’s top speed on a circuit: 220.39 mph.
Aston Martin officially announced that their new supercar, One-77, broke the top speed record of the British brand’s models, reaching 220.39 miles per hour during a private test made last week. The British car is in the pre-launching testing stage, the engineers preparing the model that will hit the market in 2010 on a testing track, who’s name is kept secret, in Southern Europe.
The performance is even more meritorious, because the first informations Aston Marting made public so far showed that the model will hit a top speed of just 199 mph. The performance of the Aston Martin supercar was set on tarmac, in dry weather conditions, but on a strong wind.
