Audi R8 By MTM With 560 Rear HP
The German tuner named MTM offers a 560 HP version of the Audi R8 which dropped four-wheel drive Quattro system in favor of rear traction.
The Germans from MTM, specializing in change models of the Volkswagen Group, presented the first images and information package for the new Audi R8 GT3-2. The model is equipped with a V8 4.2-liter FSI engine that develops 560 HP and 428 lb-ft of torque. Thus, the MTM R8 GT3-2 version can accelerate from 0 to 60mph in just 3.9 seconds while top speed is 197 mph. The German model has received a number of aesthetic changes, along with other improvements to the suspension and brakes.

The guys from MTM have installed a suspension can be adjusted so the hardness and the height and the brake system was replaced with a more powerful, equipped with 380 mm discs. The 20 inch wheels of this model are made from forged aluminum and are equipped with Dunlop Sport Maxx GT tires or Michelin Sport Cup. MTM not announced a price of this package of changes, but the customers who already have an Audi R8 can receive this package without problems. Also, it is possible for a customer to order an R8 GT3-2 directly from MTM.
At the exterior the Audi R8 GT3-2 received a carbon fiber front bumper, a set of side skirts and a new rear spoiler. MTM has not announced their new model weight, since they removed two differentials, a set of front planetary and use a new transmission, which eliminates all-wheel drive Quattro system in favor of rear traction. It may that the R8 GT3-2 will be easier with approximately 220 pounds than the all-wheel drive version.
