Chrysler Began Production Of Dodge Viper SRT 10 ACR-X
The Dodge plant from Conner Avenue began the production of the Viper’s SRT10 first special edition, called ACR-X. The model can develop 640 Hp from a 8.4 liter V10 engine.
The production of the limited edition of Dodge Viper SRT 10 ACR-X debuted Monday in the Conner Avenue Dodge plant . The model is an extreme performance version of Dodge Viper SRT 10 and developing 40 hp in addition to the standard version, reaching a total of 640 horsepower from a 8.4 liter V10 engine. The propeller is developed by specialists from the SRT and is equipped with a less restricted exhaust system but uses a standard outlet gallery.

“The 2010 model year is going to be unique for the Dodge Viper in many ways both on and off the track, so to kick it off with production of our ultimate special-edition Viper ACR-X is our way of paying tribute to the performance engineering expertise of our SRT team, combined with the passion and dedication of Viper Nation, to keep the tradition going strong.With its amazing on-track performance, the Viper ACR-X is going to seriously turn the heads of all road-racing enthusiasts, whether it is the grassroots driver all the way up to the professional”, said Ralph Gilles, the Dodge president.
Dodge Viper SRT 10 ACR-X is just one of several special editions of the Viper f prepared by Dodge. Along with this special edition, they will create the 1:33 ACR Edition , but Voodoo Viper ACR Edition also. All these models will be built in the Conner Avenue plant in Michigan. Viper production was moved to this factory 15 years ago.
People can buy the Dodge Viper SRT 10 ACR-X at a $110,000 starting price.
