Lexus CT 200h Leaked Before Geneva 2010 – Here Is The New Lexus Hatch!
The first Lexus hatchback, the CT Lexus 200h model, which will cross swords with the Audi A3 and BMW 1 Series, has been exposed to the world through a brochure.
CT Lexus 200h, the big Lexus surprise for Geneva 2010, is not a surprise anymore for World Car Fans has intercepted a brochure in which the model is presented in all its splendor. Derived from the LF-Ch concept, this model retains a part of the original prototype’s character , but from some angles looks a bit like Toyota Auris.
Compared to the more common hatchback, the elevated Lexus CT200h has a length of 170 inches, being almost 3 inches longer, but is considerably shorter than the Toyota Prius (5.5 inches). Compared its main rivals, the Lexus hatch is “fatter” having a width of 69.5 inches and a height of 56.3 inches.

Because we are talking about Lexus, the powertrain is hybrid, first violin being the 1.8 VVT-i engine and accompanied by an electric motor. The exact power is not specified, but in the brochure tis said that this model will have three running modes: Eco, Normal and Sport and that it will prove that hybrids can be athletes. The transmission will be continuously variable and will be called the E-CVT.
We will come back with details and official pictures, when they will be released, probably not long, now that the secret was exposed.

Things to note: The brochure shows that the Lexus CT200H doesn’t even have a rear seat arm rest!!! The dash has no storage cubbies and is crammed full of buttons. The rear door opening is ridiculously small. And the engine is the same as the one in the Prius. Okay, Lexus you are kidding us right? Is having a car that only fixes the deficiencies an example of “luxury”?!? Times have changed, and people expect more from a car that they CHOOSE to buy.
