Mercedes-Benz F800 Style concept car. Simply.. WOW! Updated with VIDEO!

The Geneva Motor Show that’s creeping up next month is bound to keep those cameras busy. One of the main starts is bound to be this beauty here, the F800 Style concept car from Mercedes-Benz. The German legendary maker is putting high hopes into this player for it’s green high-tech high-priced future range of  cars. But most interesting however for our readers out there is that this concept offers us a glimpse of how the future CLS-Class will look like. And man, it’s looking good!

Mercedes-Benz also touts the concept’s flexible powertrain platform. The realistic option is a plug-in hybrid system that’s basically an offshoot of the V6 light-hybrid setup found in the S400 sedan. Mercedes says this new plug-in gas-electric system, which is good for over 400 combined horsepower, gives the car an EV-only driving range of 18 miles. The automaker has announced that a new plug-in system is headed to the next-gen S-Class. So this concept may actually be an experiment from MB to see if you like the features they’re trying out.

This F800 Style concept also features some other latest hour developments from Mercedes-Benz: the Distronic Plus Traffic Jam Assistant and the Pre-Safe 360-degree system, which expands the existing Pre-Safe collision detection/mitigation system to back area of the vehicle. Cause you don’t only crash or hit someone with the nose of the car, do you know?
