Alfa Romeo Pandion Concept by Stile Bertone – Bertone Offering To Alfa
Here is Alfa Romeo Pandion, the new study that bears the Bertone brand stamp, which is part of the “Holy Trinity” of the concepts presented in Geneva with the occasion of Alfa Romeo Centenary.
The three major Italian design houses, Pininfarina, Bertone and Giugiaro pay tribute to Alfa Romeo, competing in concepts dedicated to the brand that is turning 100. This is the suggestion from Bertone, that starting from the Alfa Romeo 8C’s platform, have created a sports coupe with 2+2 seats – those two on the second row seem rather pygmy configured.
In terms of design, many will say that this the Pandion concept looks too much like the one recently launched by BMW. But the prototype includes elements specific to Alfa, especially the front with that “eagle stare” specific of Alfa 159 and looked from above looks as if bearing the Jason Castriota’s stamp, the former chief designer at Bertone, so can not be explicitly accused of plagiarism. Instead there is a discrepancy between the very well-defined front and back that seems unfinished.Probably, in flesh will look more dramatic than shown in 2D depiction.
The technical data were not disclosed, being kept secret for the Geneva Auto Show.
