Dealers all around the us have been instructed to start accepting orders for the Saab 9-3X! This is good news and solid, tangible proof that the legendary brand is not gone yet. Also this comes after a first info on Saab revival, read here.

While Saab loyalists surely take this as good news, we shouldn’t rush to celebrate just yet. More inspection has led to some peculiar findings: dealers are allowed to take orders for the cars, but there’s no pricing information and nothing will be officially submitted until the Saab & Spyker deals is closed out and approved. These things take time, but every day is getting more and more frustrating as we all know that the deal seemed jinxed and rumours of “done” or “doomed” have been swimming round and round over the Web.

When will the deal close and prices be public then? The final deal procedurals are scheduled for February 15th. One week to go. It’s almost a sure thing that if all goes well and the deal is finally over (Spyker guys are sure to hit the bars after that…) dealerships will be quick to materialize.

The Saab line-up is going to be, if -again shesh!- the deal is all well, refreshed with  a full range of 9-3 models for 2012. Plus that the new 9-5, and the 9-4X are due in the U.S. market during 2010 and 2011.

All in all this is indeed good news, and not only for Saab fans but for drivers out there with taste. Let’s help put Saab back on it’s feet! Contact a local dealer now and reserve your Saab 9-3X early. You’re sure to receive customer attention, be it a special price or a good delivery  date.
