McLaren Mercedes launched Friday the new F1 car MP4-25 with the hope to win the world championship in 2010 season.

McLaren held Friday at the Vodafone headquarters in UK the launch festivity for the new F1 car McLaren for the 2010 season. Performers on the stage were Jensson Button and Lewis Hamilton, that have uncovered the McLaren Mercedes MP4-25 car that the team hopes to help them conquer the two world titles this year.

As you can see in the following pictures, McLaren opted for a relatively unconventional design for the new MP4-25.

The engine case  is very long, in the style implemented for the first time by the Red Bull Racing Team, making it different from the model developed by the Ferrari rivals. As expected, the nose of the new McLaren F1 car is similar to that used last year by Red Bull Racing and also implemented by Ferrari on their new F10.

McLaren decided to continue using the colors of the last season, although the press speculations said that the team would abandon the silver due to the fact that Mercedes has formed his own Silver Arrows team.

The 2010 McLaren F1 car will make its debut on the track next week on the testing session at Valencia, with test driver Gary Paffett being the first to have the honor to drive MP4-25.
