Problems within Toyota? Three VPs resign in the same short period of time
Automotive News reports that three of Toyota’s group vice presidents will be leaving the company in less than sixty days. Not togheter, in theory, but pretty much in the same time by business standards. Read below to see how much they’ve been in the company to understand that 20-30 days are a flick of the wrist.
They are:
Steve Sturm, 28 years with the company, oversaw strategic research and planning for the Americas as well as corporate communications.
Dave Danzer is a 24-year veteran and headed strategic and product planning.
Irv Miller, successful head of environmental and public affairs, who’s been a Toyota associate for 29 years.
Heack, most of our readers probably barely have 28, 29 years. How come and what does this time? The timing is too fit and these people too important for all of this to be a coincidence. In addition, long-tenured group Vice Presidents within a company such as Toyota do not just depart from the “family” (you know, corporate stuff), they either take another position or readjust one way or another. The lack of reaction or surprise-behaviour within and close by the company suggest that these departures were well know for some time now.
