Aston Martin prepared a special edition, named Carbon Black, for their models DBS and V12 Vantage. The supercars will get a series of customizations enhancing their exclusivist character.

Aston Martin celebrates the success of the DBS and v12 Vantage models, which exceeded all expectations in the matter of sales, with a special edition of the two supercars, called Carbon Black.

As the name says it by itself, the main piece of the design is the body’s metallic black paint, a unique color, with an application process needing 50 labor hours and no quality error. The design line is improved with some carbon fiber accessories both on front and side levels. For an efficient contrast, the British designers thought of a chromed finishing of the frond grill for the V12 Vantage, but also a set of rims with diamond aspect, with 10 spokes.

On the interior, for both models, the Carbon Black edition will bring a delicate leather of a Obsidian Black color, with silver seams, the work of art of the people working for the Gaydon factory and that do these thing manually. The leather covers a set of sport seats, made of kevlar and carbon fiber to weight 37 pounds less then the stock ones.

The carbon fiber insertions are not absent, abounding at the dashboard and doors level. At all these a 700 W Bang&Olufsen audio system is add, and it comes as stock, along with the front parking sensors.

As extra, for the clients that will choose the special editions, Aston Martin prepares a memorable experience within the “Performance Driving” contest, which has the role to familiarize the drivers with the performances of the Gaydon supercars.

Accroding to the Britons’ press release, the Carbon Black limited edition will pull 5% more dollars from the wallet of those that want a V12 Vantage or a DBS.
