Aged 40, Michael Schumacher will return in Formula 1, all the German newspapers writ, announcing that only some minor details are between the world champion and the Formula One circuits.

Last week it was rumored that the German was wanted by the guys from Mercedes, to become Nico Rosberg’s teammate. But now Bild say that they reached an agreement, the details were adjusted and that Michael Schumacher is only one signature away from his return in F1. It seems that the German team and Formula 1 world champion now have an unsigned protocol for one year.

The protocol also provides that Schumacher will become Mercedes’ image, abandoning the advisor role and the commercial rights he hat at Ferrari. Anyway, the interesting fact is that Schuey’s manager, Willi Weber, say that he is as astonished as the press, delaying the official answer. On the other side, Bild say that the medical results are excellent and that Michael is set to officially return on the F1 tracks, being eager to work again with Ross Brawn.
