Apple iPad 2 Specs Leaked – Retina Display, Gyroscope, USB, And Front-facing Camera

Apple will probably launch the next-gen iPad in early 2011 as the company isn’t way ahead of other companies therefore a refresh is needed.  The iPad 2 is a must as Samsung has sold lots of Galaxy Tabs and other companies have been doing well in the tablet world. Apple hasn’t confirmed the iPad 2, but a newspaper has leaked the specs of the tablet and we’re kinda surprised and excited by them.

Allegedly, the Apple iPad 2 will feature a retina display, a USB port, a camera in the front for video conferences, a tri-axis gyroscope, and a very thin glass panel which will eventually lead to a significant drop in the tablet’s weight.

Everything that the Chinese newspaper said is doable, however, we don’t “trust” that USB port. It’s as simple as that. Apple won’t bring a USB port for its tablet. It’s just unbelievable. The retina display can be added, the camera for FaceTime support will definitely be available, the gyroscope is not hard to do, and the thinner glass panel is also a must, but a USB port? Sorry, but no.
