Rendered Speculation: What About An Audi R10?
Even though Audi actually announced a smaller R than the current Audi R8, there are people that imagined how an Audi R10 would look like, a lot more radical than the present supercar.
The one that imagines how the most radical model ever built would look like, Audi R10, is a reader of the British Car magazine. The young designer’s name is Marouane Bembli and he studies the industrial design in Sweden. The Audi R10, as the designer sees it, it has to be a futuristic supercar, with a V10 engine (we don’t know if it’s the same with the Audi R8 V10′s engine) and weighing less than 1,200 kg (that’s 2,645 lbs).
Anyway, if we look closely to we will see that the design is, actually, a medley between and Audi R8, the front and the rear, and the genuine Audi R10, from which he borrows the oblong profile. The Le Mans model, gained his notoriety thanks to the V12 5.5-litre TDI engine, and not to a V10 gas engine.
Even so, this is a courageous design, that, most probably, will not have a correspondent in the real world. Here is a gallery of the Audi R10 supercar concept just like it’s designer, Marouane Bembili, imagined it.
