Honda S2000 Twin-Turbo, And A Herd Of Horses Was Born!

Is not the first and surelly not the last Honda S2000 modified especially at the engine.  We all saw the S2000 with turbo engines, compressors and even an engine with an  swap from from Corvette Z06.

But now here’s something new – a car with two turbines.  Not bad at all, especially if you want to get close to 500 HP!

The owner of this S2000, left on the hands of the Americans from Epic Tuning this car and he said “I want something else“.  Therefore, they have complied and have mounted rapidly two turbines .  More specifically, Garrett GT28RS mounted on the gallery exhaust custom made. And because he never saw such an engine, almoust everything found under the hood is especially made.  The intake gallery,  the turbo injectors piping route, the injectors are for 880 cm3 and double intercooler is mounted in a strange position. Al of this fitted perfectly.

 

The car electronics is managed by a programmable  EMS computer. Car’s original power was almost doubled, now reaching 475 HP at the wheel, from the 240 car’s HP.  Certainly, Americans from Epic Tuning have changed  the  internal engine components, connecting rods, pistons, springs, etc..

This Honda S2000 produces 475 HP  with a pressure of only one bar, and if it rises to 1.5, the power will jump to 530 HP.  Not bad for a car with rear-wheel drive, right?  A proof of engine tuning quality, clean and very precise work, which produce a moderate power – are more S2000 of nearly 1,000 HP  with a single turbine.  But the owner wanted a reasonable power, thus keeping the car reliability, and functionality  without  turning into a drag racing car.
