Mazda6 Produced Two Million Copies Since 2002
Mazda has produced two million copies of the Mazda6 model. It is in production since 2002 and has already reached the second generation.
Japan to celebrate Mazda’s production of two million copies Atenza model, which we know as the Mazda6. The model is in production since 2002 and has already reached the second generation. Mazda6 is the second model of the Japanese automaker of Zoom-Zoom new generation that has passed two million units produced. The first generation Mazda6 was the first model of the new range which went into production.
All first generation of the Mazda6 has received over 130 awards worldwide. Even the second generation of the Mazda6, not bad in terms of achievements. It is valued for its many qualities and earned five stars in Euro NCAP safety tests. The model received a easily facelift this year and the next generation is not expected for at least another three years.
“Mazda6 is one of our basic model that helped us establish our image worldwide. I was head of development for the first generation of this model and still care passionately about this particular model.’m Happy that we have over two million global customers who bought a Mazda6. I would like to thank everyone who bought a Mazda6. ” said Seita Kanai, Mazda’s director of the responsible research, development and program management.
Mazda6 is built at the Hofu factory in Japan, AutoAlliance factory in Michigan and the FAWfactory in China. In the first eight months of the year, Mazda produced 164,000 units of Mazda6, achieving a 50% increase compared to same period last year .
