New Dodge Logo Debuts On The New Generation of Durango
New Dodge Durango is the first model of the American brand which receiving the new logo and a new identity of the automaker owned by Chrysler concern.
The American from Chrysler showed the first pictures of new Dodge Durango. Before here nothing interesting, because we speak about a model destinate for the USA market. The Durango model is important because it is the first that submit the new Dodge brand identity and its new logo. Thus, from the old logo used until some time ago, the guys from Dodge have switched to a black cross surrounded by chrome.

The exterior of the new Dodge Durango shows interesting lines for an American model and provides an aggressive appearance, but contemporary. What does this mean? Is probably that the Dodge models could be sold on the European market, and the models that will reach could have a similar issue like the original Durango. Compared with that what the American automaker presented so far, we can say that we see one of the few appealing SUVs from Dodge.
In addition of the new self-supporting body, Dodge Durango has new engines. We talking about a Pentastar V6 unit and 3.6-liter, which can travel 500 miles with a full and a V8 5.7-liter engine configured by HEMI. Despite the appearances, the MDS system of this engine allows to turn off four of its eight cylinders to save fuel. The commercial debut will take place in the last quarter of 2010.
