VIDEO: The 6th Burning Tata Nano Caught On Camera

The number of accidents that involved a Tata Nano that burst into flames without reason, now reached six. The last accident of this kind took place Friday in Delhi.

Although lately the star of spontaneous combustions in the auto field was Ferrari 458 Italia, as the Italian model was already involved in more than 5 incidents of this type making the Italian officials analyse the accidents, it seems that the Italian model is not the only one  having this kind of problems. And if 458 Italia is one of the most expensive cars currently on the market, at the other end of the car industry – of course, represented by Tata Nano – gets some fire action.

The last accident in which a Tata Nano unit burst into flames without a reason took place last Friday in Delhi. According to a eyewitness, right after the driver started his car, sparks occurred in the rear of the car. The flames then extended on the hole surface of the car, swallowing it in a cloud of smoke. Even though the firemen came very fast, the car completely burn in just minutes.

Tata Nano On Fire

Is not the first incident of this type in which a Nano car was involved. Until now, the Indians at Tata have confronted with six such unexplained crashes: “We will find out why this incident has taken place and, if necessary, take all requisite steps. While this incident has taken place, you need to acknowledge that there are thousands of Nanos running absolutely normally. We have also launched a subsequent program to inspect all the Nano cars already sold to customers,” said a Tata spokesman.
