Bentley Flying Spur Special Editions Announced For The Middle East

Bentley Flying Spur Arabia

Bentley is launching two special editions for it’s Continental Flying Spur in the Middle East. The super luxury maker has no less than nine dealers active in the area, and it has recently announced that the Middle Eastern market accounts as of now for 10% of it’s all  world-wide Bentley sales. It comes at no surprise that the English high-end maker is paying tribute to customers in the Middle East with these special edition cars. Emerging markets like India, China and the Middle East will be seeing more and more attention of all forms from luxury carmakers, in a battle to establish a solid base in these areas. The Supersports stands as proof that even an incredible car such as the Bentley Continental can be further improved, so let’s take a look at these two up-coming models.

The Continental Flying Spur is exclusively hand built at Bentley’s only factory in Crewe, England, so we can expect the same great place and the same team that worked on the Continental GT and GTC to give birth to the 50 special editions, entitled Flying Spur Arabia and Flying Spur Speed Arabia.

Ceramic brakes are optional on the models. An additional valet key is offered for the two special Bentley Arabia models.

The same W12  6-litre engine we already know will be mounted on the Middle-East edition Flying Spurs, with the Speed Arabia getting more power – an astounding 600 hp gush. Unique wheels to ride those sands in style are present of the two models, with the Continental Flying Spur Arabia getting 14-spoke diamond alloy wheel, while the Speed Arabia gets more robust bright silver 10-spoke 20-inch wheels more apt for it’s sport nature.

Adaptive Cruise Control, iPod interface, rear-view camera, front seats and rear bench phone panels are just a few of the interior add-ons to pick from.

“We have created these exclusive new models for our Arabic customers in recognition of the growing importance of these influential customers. Bentley has a long and proud tradition of being able to design, engineer and personalise our cars to the individual styling and driving tastes of our customers and these special-edition Bentleys showcase these skills for the Middle East Market”.
